KWV Van Der Hum Liqueur

Unique smooth taste and a perfect accompaniment to an after dinner coffee.

My favourite Christmas tipple!I'm rather fond of Liqueurs, and despite there being hundreds of different ones out there (believe it or not!), I get SO tired of seeing the stores all selling the same old boring selection...(Cointreau, Baileys, Cherry Brandy, Tia Maria - and so on...) Have the British no sense of adventure!??I find I favour Brandy based Liqueurs myself, rather than Whiskey - the Brandy I'm sure being far gentler on the stomach I find. I also prefer this, as unlike Liqueurs such as `Cointreau' for example which is extremely acidic, this is a much milder and delicate flavour with a lovely mellow after taste - not only because of the Brandy perhaps, but because it is Tangerine flavoured and not orange. I've always found this extremely difficult to get hold of until this year

Been looking for this liquor for ages as a liquor I used to drink on special occasions many years ago. Would recommend everyone to try this excellent drink

A mellow South African liqueur, flavoured with Nartjies ( a kind of tangerine ) and somewhat similar to Grand Marnier. Popular in the UK in Edwardian times, it is now increasingly difficult to find over here - great to see it being made available on-line!

As a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy in the 1960’s I discovered this liqueur when serving on a South African registered ship. It’s very smooth and suits any food as an appetiser. Discovered it again a couple of years ago here on Amazon. Love it but it is just a little expensive so I only buy it occasionally.
